Ms GC Phakedi is the founder and Director of Phakedi Attorneys Incorporated. She is an admitted attorney with a right of appearance in the High Court. She possesses a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and a National Diploma in Language Practice from the
University of South Africa (UNISA). Ms Phakedi completed her articles of clerkship at the Office of the State Attorneys in Johannesburg in March 2015.
She has been in the legal fraternity since 2007, having previously worked for the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development based at Randburg Magistrates Court as a Clerk, and later joining the Labour Court as a Judge’s Associate. She later joined the Department of Justice as a Labour Relations Officer responsible for chairing disciplinary hearings, investigating, prosecuting on behalf of the Employer, handling arbitrations and disputes at the Bargaining
Councils and the CCMA.
We have developed extensive knowledge and practical experience in the fields of labour and commercial law over the years. We service a variety of businesses ranging from small to large organisations. We are thus able to provide a customised service to each of our clients.
Our law firm consists of professionals with extensive experience in the field of labour law, human resources and labour relations management gained during formal employment in the public service and local government sectors.
Our consultants have been in practise for over ten years and they provide a great deal of guidance and leadership in commercial litigation matters.
